During the reporting year, LAMP has launched the programmes for promotion of women self help groups in slums on the banks of Jamuna river. 45 Women Self-Help Groups have been already formed and the SHG members have been provided with support for developing management of thrift savings and micro credit programmes. Awareness generation and education programmes on Maleria and TB control, HIV, AIDS, STDs have also been organised in collaboration with All India Association of Voluntary Agencies(AIAVA).
During the reporting year, LAMP has undertaken all necessary steps for organising vocational skill development training programmes for the street and working children on different trades with the support of the AIAVA. It is also expected that the financial support will be available from a foundation of the Netherlands to undertake skill development and income generation programmes among the street children of Delhi.

In addition, LAMP has been supporting skills development and entrepreneurship development training to a few children/youth at risks in other trades like plastic goods manufacturing, welding, rickshaw repairing etc.
Besides, it should be mentioned here that 675( as on 31st March, 2012) persons in all, living in slums and squatters of Delhi ( Children/youth at risks and their family members ) have become the members of LAMP’s Micro Finance and Livelihood Development Programme. Out of these members, 433 ( as on 31st March, 2003) persons in all, living in slums and squatters of Delhi (Children/youth at risks and their family members ) have got technical support in the form of skills development and entrepreneurship development trainings and loan from the LAMP-Delhi State office.
Moreover, LAMP Placement Services has been started recently to make arrangements for getting placements for the trained elderly children/youth at risks and their family members.
